Parisians speak to the Normans: Galerie Vauclair at the Manor of Argouges

Our major event of the Spring 2014 has arrived!

The exhibition "L'Art de la Barbotine" is on view from 1st to 22nd June 2014 at the Manoir d'Argouges in Lower Normandy (14400 Vaux-sur-Aure)

We will be delighted to welcome you every day from 2.30 pm. to 7 pm.

Here the first exclusive pictures...

Arrival at the Manor, a unique place built between the 15th and 17th centuries

Preparations for the exhibition with Mr. Bertrand Levasseur, the owner of the place. On the right Mr. Denis Rouquette

Our barbotines take place...

This exhibition is an opportunity for us to help you discover or rediscover the world of Palissy Followers and more generally the artistic ceramics of the second half of the 19th century, including the historicist side. Good example here with a big plate of Thomas Victor Sergent and its mythological decoration

And we are pleased to present to you the first press release that supports event widely
